Nature fascinates and awakens sensations. It is dynamic and alive. There is always a sound, a smell or the early morning light that influence the subconscious. We move in these sensory fields and slowly our awareness of the natural world opens up. We hear the whisper of the leaves, the song of the birds and even silence becomes audible. Emersed in the wild and beautiful landscape of Cap De Creus natural park we experience heat and then cold; sea wind from the south and then Tramuntana from the north. The fresh, aromatic air, infused with wild lavender and rosemary, evokes powerful feelings and activates the mind…

Our Forest School approach is based on the concept of an outdoor learning environment, which focuses on play-based learning, and is child-led. The approach provides all learners opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment. Every day there are moments of free play followed by more structured learning based on curricular subjects including literature, environment, mathematics, natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, art, music, theater, movement, and physical education. Activities include:
